Goals Per 90: Wayne Rooney's Got Some Catching Up To Do

Hey Busy Babe:

About to publish a Wayne Rooney story on dot-com and thought of you as I compiled this table. That story should be up in an hour or two, but for now, this might be of interest to the community:

Known as a goal scorer, Wayne Rooney has been amongst United's worst per minute. At least, amongst the Red Devils' attacking players.

Yeah, he’s been off form this season so far, and no doubt about it. OTOH he hasn’t played a whole lot of minutes, so if he gets a few goals that G/M score will start changing in a hurry

Glory glory Man United, AND the other MU, AAAAnd the Leafs. I think I need a drink now.

Nice idea

But it’s a very small sample size. so I don’t think we can really tell how bad or good anyone on this list is.

Chris Samba pulled a goal back for Rovers near the end, from a cross by young substitute Josh Morris, but Blackburn will be glad this performance came after their recent takeover had already gone through. It was fowl.
