Man Utd and Balotelli

Since there are lots of rumors swirling that Manchester United and Man City are both chasing Inter's Mario balotelli. Just wanted to hear what you guys thought about Balotelli partnering up with Wayne? I don't know much about Balotelli and have hardly seen him play, but his attitude sort of raises a red flag. But i'm pretty sure if anybody can straighten them out, Fergie is the man to do it. And since Balotelli is still only 20 years old it would be nice to get him young.

Super Mario

A very rare talent. This kid could be one of the best in the world in 3-4 years. He’s got some attitude problems as you said Sir Alex would put a quash on that quite quickly. Also I don’t think I’d be trying my hardest either if my own fans were throwing bananas and shouting racial slurs at me.

He’s young, he’s got the speed and size to make it in England, really good on and off the ball and plays with a passion not matched by many when he’s on.

On the flip side the biggest con about Mario is he can be horribly inconsistent, which is in my opinion why Jose left him out quite a bit. Again though he’s quite young and that type of thing can be worked on. I know a lot of United fans, especially those on Manchester Evening News don’t rate him and want nothing to do with him but I think they’d change their opinion once he started torching opposing defensemen.

I’d like to see him with United, but I can’t see us outbidding City. Not that we aren’t able too… Fergie is just a bit more intelligent with his spending than the clods at City. I’m not sure that we need another striker that badly.

Having said that, his scoring record is pretty impressive for a 20-year old. Also, apparently Macheda has been texting/calling Balotelli a lot recently, for what that is worth

If we can get him reasonably… like.. $25? I’d be quite pleased. He doesn’t have the track record of David Silva, but probably has a higher potential. His attitude leaves something to desire for, but I like his fieriness, and also desire to win.

Guys with "attitude problems"

have come to United before and been perfect for our club. There were question marks about the attitudes of Cantona, Keane, Rooney and more. Something about SAF and being at the biggest club in the world straightens most guys out. Plus the attitude problem rumors are almost always blown out of proportion.

Would definitely be at home with United

he’s been mistreated by the fans at Inter and has been called slurs at some of the games, United seems to be more of a warming place to play, once in a lifetime experience as far as Fan-Player relationships go.

He’s very raw in terms of talent needs to develop some intangibles as far as technique goes, great speed, and a pretty powerful shot feels like Sir Alex can develop him into world-class talent.
