United wrap up their North American tour with a game in Mexico. A very intriguing game for several reasons not least of which will be seeing the way the Mexican fans respond to Chicharito and how he handles the occasion. This is a big match for the youngster as he plays for Chivas for the last time before heading back to England.
Plus this match comes just 17 days before United kick off their Premier League campaign against Newcastle. Just a little over a fortnight to prepare for the start of a new season.

18th minute:
Cleverly goes down just outside the box setting up a free kick. Ball goes softly into the wall and the attack fizzles out.
20th minute
Hernandez has had at least 4 shots on goal. 1 went in and the other 3 were only a little bit off.

Chivas was offsides....
not the goal scorer, but it looked like our boy Hernandez was a full body offside on that free kick….
I’ve been watching 20 minutes and I still can’t tell the formation.
Cleverly on left wing and de Laet on right wing?

Who the heck knows what’s going on.
Scholes is alright. But Berbatov has been either wasteful or isn’t there at all. He can bring the ball down and work through a few defenders but the pass is always off.
That is the coolest thing ever. The linesmen used spray paint of some sort to mark lines when the freekick was taken.

the playing surface had a lot to do with the poor play

Never looked like we were making any effort whatsoever to put together a cohesive attack. I guess that’s because it is preseason, but if that was a league match I’d be pretty upset with that
