The former coach of Manchester United's £7.4 million summer recruit Bebe says he tried and failed to sell the player for just €150,000 in January...
"Last season we had no money at all," Paxaio told the Daily Mail. "We were trying to transfer Bebe to other clubs. We had to raise money desperately. We told everyone in England and in Europe: 'For €150,000 you can have him'.
"We couldn't get anybody interested. Nobody trusted him. None of the clubs were interested because he had never played at a high level."

The more I think about Bebe
The more it blows my mind that a kid living in a homeless shelter all of a sudden is at one of the biggest clubs in the world and the press won’t let Sir Alex off the hook until they see him play. It’s going to be hard for Sir Alex not to want to carry him on the bench in the near future (maybe even as soon as Saturday?) after his performances in the U21s. I know the kid is 20 and is probably behind the normal development curve of a 20 year old, but damn, he looked decent in both games this past week. He has size too and he needs to get used to the Premier League. Once he gets used to the physical nature of England, he’ll be a force on corners and on free kicks.
