The whole "unwell" or "rested" argument seems quite weak. Berbatov is indeed quite frustrating to watch (especially in the big games) but Fergie would do well to strengthen the midfield for next season rather than make Berba the scapegoat. Someone mentioned on Twitter that Berbatov is a confidence player and that you can't put him abruptly in a big game and expect him to perform. That might be true, but his goal-scoring record against big teams leaves a lot to be desired.
