Manchester United lead the list in Forbes' latest valuation of the world's top clubs. This is seventh consecutive year that United lead this list as the business magazine values United to be worth an estimated 1.12-billion-pounds ($1.86 billion). The Red Devils are followed on the list by Real Madrid, who come in second with an estimated valuation of 900-million-pounds. Arsenal FC are listed as the next highest English club at third, German club Bayern Munich fourth, and FC Barcelona round out the top five on the list. The next two English clubs on the list are Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC, who rank seventh and ninth respectively. The magazine says the foundation of their estimated values are based on what the clubs have been sold for in the past relative to sales and profit and also for broadcasting deals.

Forbes also listed the world's highest paid footballers. With endorsements, former United midfielder David Beckham tops that list at 24-million-pounds. He's followed on the list by another former United player, Cristiano Ronaldo. Lionel Messi ranks third.
