Over the span of the past few weeks, we asked the community here at The Busby Babe for your input in our first annual season ending awards. The 2010-11 season for Manchester United contained some nervy moments, particularly in the early going when Chelsea FC was regularly dismantling other Premier League sides with six goal performances; and also during the winter when the Reds were grinding out points in an uninspired fashion. However, as winter faded and the temperatures rose throughout England, United blossomed and ultimately finished the season as champions of England for a record 19th time. Despite the heartbreak at season's end in a loss to FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League final at Wembley, it was still a successful and enjoyable campaign for most of us.
