Despite the England vs Holland friendly at Wembley being called off due to the rioting in London, Wednesday was a busy day of internationals. Here is a roundup of the exciting involvement of Manchester United players (I lied, nothing of note happened actually): 

* Jonny Evans (Northern Ireland): In Belfast, and in a European Championship qualifier versus the Faroe Islands, Evans started at center-back and played the full 90 in a 4-0 victory for his side. 

* Patrice Evra (France): Evra did not participate in France's 1-1 with Chile after being declared unfit prior to the match. A knee injury suffered in Sunday's FA Community Shield was cited as the cause. All indications are that the left-back should be fine for United's match on Sunday at West Brom.

* Darren Gibson (Ireland): In a 0-0 draw with Croatia, Gibson started and went the full 90. The midfielder's time at Old Trafford is likely done but he is still technically a United player.

* Anders Lindegaard (Denmark): Did not play in his side's 2-1 loss to Scotland.

* Nani (Portugal): Came on as a 2nd half substitute during Portugal's 5-0 rout of Luxembourg. 

* Nemanja Vidic (Serbia): The United skipper started and went the full 90 in Serbia's 1-0 loss to Russia.

* Mame Biram Diouf (Senegal): I couldn't find any info on Diouf's involvement in this match, other than Senegal lost 0-2 to Morocco. My keen detective skills allow to reason then that Diouf did not score any goals if he played. 

A quick note: The violent rioters through England are awful. They are even more awful, by a just tiny bit more, because I did not get to see Tom Cleverley make his England debut. Shame on you.
