I would be too excited about having smalling/scholes back haha neither of them are going to be difference makers. Let’s see how suspect the ManU defense looks today.. I’ll take City 3-1..

But we got the win and we go marching on
TBF Jones has been constantly been played in different positions.
I agree with you but Jones has been played at right back and centre mid and hasnt has a consistent run at centre back. Also I think Jones is a bit short height wise as I think he is something like 180cm wheras Smalling is 190+.
Looks like no CM signing
With Scholes un-retiring untill the end of the season I highly doubt SAF will dip into the January transfer market. You could tell how much better United played when Scholes was introduced and im sure his inclusion in the team made some players play better. Rooney was immense today. He tracked back and won the ball back from deep countless times.
