After Manchester United's contentious win on Sunday versus Chelsea at Stamford Bridge -- their first win in ten years at that ground -- they have moved to the top spot in SB Nation's Week 9 Premier League Power Rankings.
SB Nation's Week 9 Premier League Power Rankings have produced a new leader -- Manchester United (Week 9 Power Rankings). As everyone and their cousin know by now (assuming your cousins are football fans), the Red Devils emerged victorious at Stamford Bridge on Sunday and most feel that Chelsea were hard done by some refereeing decisions from Mark Clattenburg. Nonetheless, not much separates United, the Blues, and Manchester City at this point in the season so the result is as good of an argument as any for Sir Alex Ferguson's side to top this week's poll.
The race for fourth is still between Spurs, Everton and Arsenal. Who do you think is the favorite to claim the last UEFA Champions League qualification spot? I still assume most would wager on the Gunners if forced to but their form is not on par with Spurs or the Toffees at this moment of the season. Does Everton have enough depth? Do Spurs have enough mettle to overtake Arsenal?
At the bottom of the poll, and at the table, it's looking pretty dire for the bottom five teams. QPR certainly have enough talent to stay up but their failure to earn a league victory is a sign that cohesion hasn't set in yet. Who do you think will be relegated this season? Feel free to offer your thoughts on the voting and also on the pecking order of the Premier League in the comments section below.
Here is the ballot that I submitted for this week's poll:
1. Manchester United
3. Manchester City
11. West Ham United
12. Swansea City
14. Stoke City
15. Wigan Athletic
16. Aston Villa
17. Norwich City
