Your chance to be the boss..... (Photo by Bryn Lennon/Getty Images)
This is a new feature that we will hopefully continue. It is what it says on the tin. We will give you some nominations, and then you can vote on it and share your thoughts.
First off, for the month of February, Manchester United went 3-1-1. A win a piece against Ajax, Norwich and arch rivals Liverpool. The come from behind draw against Chelsea and the abysmal home loss in the return leg against Ajax. Lets get down to it.
David De Gea - He returned to the first team in the first match of the month against Chelsea, and some, me included were worried. His last appearance was against Liverpool in the FA Cup where he got bullied and then dropped. But my oh my did he bounce back. He made several good saves and in my opinion, the save of the season from Mata in injury time from his precise free kick. Solid against Liverpool and both Ajax games, he saved his best for Sunday. Against Norwich City he was sublime. Commanded his area, assured on set pieces and crosses. Hung onto the ball instead of punching or parrying. And made several top saves to keep us in the game. Well played Sir...
Jonny Evans - Who would have thought that he would be our most consistent defender this season. Most would have written the season off when Nemanja Vidic was ruled out for the season, but he has played his part. Had a very consistent month. Loved the way he has added another dimension to his game, igniting attacks from the back. Looks so composed on the ball under pressure too. Keep it up Jonny
Paul Scholes - Paul Scholes can still score goals as he showed on Sunday. And as he has shown by his performances this month, he is still a crucial member of our squad, despite his "retirement". His ability to dictate the game, the tempo and his ability to switch play is second to none. No one would have thought that he would have returned with so much vigour, and his performances this month have been fantastic,
Micheal Carrick - Didn't have a great start to the season but has really came into his own recently. Never a standout performer, doesn't grab headlines, but his work is always appreciated. Regulary tops the team in distance covered, his passing ability is crucial to our game.
Wayne Rooney - Digged us out of a massive hole against Chelsea. His second half performance in that game was one of the best in his time at the club. Followed that up with a couple of goals against Liverpool just when we needed them. Four goals in his three games, all of them crucial.
So there are the options we have given you. Make your pick and tell us why. Easy!
