Another match versus a side trying to fight off relegation, another dominant performance by Manchester United. This time though, it was against a 10-man Queens Park Rangers after their captain, Shaun Derry, was controversially sent-off for taking down (*) Ashley Young inside the box -- replays clearly showed that the United attacker was in a offside position when the ball was played through for him by Wayne Rooney. Nonetheless, United's talisman coolly converted his penalty and the Red Devils were off to a fast start. Despite United's clear control of the match, QPR defended decently well and the home side had difficulties in breaking down their counterparts. It wasn't until a drive from deep from Paul Scholes in the 68th minute that the three points felt secured. What a day it was to be a United supporter -- after Manchester City's latest slip-up at the Emirates, Sir Alex Ferguson's side is now 8 points clear at the top of the table with 6 matches to go. Glory Glory Man United!
(*) Ash certainly sold it well...
