The opening fixture of the Premier League season has not been kind too Manchester United, as we have to travel to the city of Liverpool to take on Everton at Goodison Park on the 18th August. The full list of fixtures can be viewed here at ManUnited.com.

Our first home game will take place the week after, when Fulham travel to Old Trafford which should be a much easier task for Sir Alex Ferguson's men. Our first game against one of the big teams* is against Liverpool at Anfield in the middle of September. The week after, Tottenham visit us, which will be interesting as it will pit Luka Modric against his former club! (We all hope so anyway)

* This is all presuming we still class Liverpool as a big team...... I know their bad, but are they really THAT bad? (They are pretty awful)

A visit to Chelsea is at the end of November, and the following week, we then entertain Arsenal! We first play Manchester City on 8th December away. I like this, as we will then play them at home in the run in at the start of April. The home advantage could prove crucial, as City will most likely be our closest rivals come the end of the season. If home advantage does not prove crucial, and they go and put another hammering on us, feel free to shoot me!

So there are some of the main talking points. Go ahead and click the link above, and discuss any other fixtures that could be important. I personally am looking forward to the Everton game, as it is the Evertonians that ultimately stopped us winning the title in that 4-4 draw at the back end of last season!
