In other news, they sky is blue.......
In news that should come as no shock to anyone, Shinji Kagawa has passed his medical, and agreed a four yeal deal and has now officially become a Manchester United player... Or will be come July 1st!This comes after the news we brought on June 5th that United had agreed a deal with Dortmund on June 5th
"Shinji is an exciting young midfielder with great skill, vision and a good eye for goal. I am delighted he has chosen to come to United. I believe he will make an impact upon the team very quickly as he is suited to United’s style of play. We are all looking forward to working with him."
Sir Alex Ferguson
"This is a challenge I am really looking forward to. The Premier League is the best league in the world and Manchester United is such a massive club. This is a really exciting time for me and I can’t wait to meet the team and start playing."
Kagawa will come into the first team straight away, and I for one think he is going to make a big impact on the Premier League. As Fergie says, he seems to have a real eye for goal, one thing that United lacked from their midfield last season (If you class Kagawa as a midfield). I think his runs from slightly deep, with pace will give the United attack another dimension, and his pace and flexability will hopefuly ignite our counter attacks, which was evidently lacking, certainly at the back end of last season.
