This morning The Sun ran with a story that alleged Manchester United made a deadline day bid for Santos's Brazilian sensation Neymar. Im sure you do not need the clarification, but Santos have rubbished the rumour, in this story by Sky Sports.

Now while Santos may have denied the bid even if it had been made, I am pretty sure you can take this statement from the Brazilian outfit at face value. The chances of this move ever happening it close to zero too, with the prodigious talent expected to move to one of Real Madrid or Barcelona once Santos decides to sell up. I wouldn't even want him. He will end up costing an absolute bomb, (Another reason why this bid, or any future bid is false) And I doubt he would be a great fit in the dressing room. Right now the Manchester United dressing room seems to be as solid as any in England, with all the players pulling in the right direction. However it only takes one bad egg to disrupt that.

Having said that, Neymar is a special player, and I cannot wait for the day he decides to move and play his football in Europe. But not at Manchester United. Not for me
