Dimitar Berbatov will be unavailable to face his former employers this weekend.

Dimitar Berbatov -- aka 'The Continental' -- has been ruled out of this weekend's match against his former club Manchester United according to Fulham manager Martin Jol:

"Berbatov will not be fit for the game at the weekend. He pulled his hamstring and we hope that he’ll only take between seven and 10 days to recover."

While this is sad for neutrals who enjoy watching those good at football, and perhaps slightly so for United fans who appreciate the silky Bulgarian, this is a good thing overall if you want Sir Alex Ferguson's side to pick up all three points. Fulham aren't a terrible side, but they aren't really good either and Berbatov is by far their best player. Judging by his (amusing) 'keep calm and pass me the ball' shirt in the photo above, he doesn't feel his (inadequate?) teammates are supplying him enough.

With Berbatov out, this likely means Hugo Rodallega will be deployed as Fulham's No.9 with Bryan Ruiz positioned underneath the Columbian. Mladen Petric is also possible up front. Either way, this is worse -- for the Cottagers -- than any situation with Berbatov in attack.
