The FA Cup quarter-final draw has been announced.
Even though Manchester United have yet to play their 5th round FA Cup tie, they know who they will host in the quarter-final if they defeat Reading tomorrow night -- the winner of Middlesbrough versus Chelsea. The Reds have won the competition a record eleven times, however, they haven't lifted the FA Cup since 2004. The Blues have been the competition's most successful side lately as they've won four times in the past six years. If United and Chelsea clash in the quarter-final at Old Trafford, that would certainly be the headline tie of the round. Sir Alex Ferguson has repeatedly stated this season that the FA Cup is a big priority for his side because many of his prominent players have yet to win it. Here is the full draw:
* Oldham Athletic/Everton vs Wigan Athletic
* Manchester City vs Barnsley
* Manchester United/Reading vs Middlesbrough/Chelsea
* Millwall vs Blackburn Rovers
All ties will be played on either March 9 or 10.
