Can't lie, I'm disappointed. I suppose it would be more appropriate for this site to discuss the effects this will have on his play, but it's still hard for me to swallow the fact that someone I support and look up to would do something like this to his wife.

Yes, that's Paul Scholes. I think this is a good conversation starter with United scattered around Europe this weekend and no Premier League games to watch. So, you are the ref...whatcha gonna do?

Here's my response:

1. I'd give the player that ran into the box a yellow for unsporting behavior and require the team that's kicking declare to the ref and the keeper who the shooter is going to be.

2. Is there a rule about wearing a proper uniform? I'm not sure, so I guess I'd take the numbers of the players wearing altered shirts and add it in to the post-match report.

3. I'd issue the player that kicked the ball a yellow card for unsporting behavior and warn the bench that should there be interference from the spectators again, it can result in the match being called.

Again, I haven't sat down and read the FIFA rulebook or the Premier League rulebook to see how any of these situations should be resolved. If it's covered, then I'd expect if I were the ref, I'd know that...but since I'm not, I don't.

Rooney and Carrick selected to the squad. I think Carrick's selection is interesting since he hasn't gotten very much playing time.

This time it's about how Stoke played Arsenal and how Stoke has been playing "rugby" against opposing goalkeepers.

Quite sad. He showed so much promise but now is returning to Brazil. Sigh, at least we have Cleverly and Gibson coming through.

I honestly thought he was worth more than that.
